In most cases, closing costs are paid by the buyer to the title company/attorney to do all the legal legwork involved in the transfer of a property. This includes researching the property to make sure there are no outstanding liens, mortgages, or unpaid maintenance fees withstanding. They file the paperwork with the county courthouse in which you have bought your property and pay the applicable taxes required by the state/city/county/country. |
